Barbara Risse graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zurich in 2000. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant to Prof. P. Weimar’s chair of private law until 2003.
From 2003 to 2007 Barbara Risse worked as inhouse counsel for a general contractor (building construction). During this time she gained valuable practical experience and versatile insights into the world of construction. In 2008 Barbara Risse was admitted to the attorney’s office of the Canton of St. Gallen.
Before founding her own law firm, Barbara Risse worked in Zurich law firms from 2008 to 2010 as an attorney at law, primarily in construction, real estate and commercial law, and from 2011 as a partner in law firms exclusively in construction and real estate law.
In 2014/15, Barbara Risse obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Construction and Real Estate Law at the University of Fribourg and the specialist lawyer SAV for Construction and Real Estate Law. She is a board member of companies in the real estate and construction industry.
